MASH Set of 25 Nail Art Image Plates (26-50) Review

Hey Lovelies! My new set of MASH Plates came in the mail a few weeks ago and I immediately had to rip them open and stare at them like a five year old looking into a candy store window! Look how gorgeous these look!! I bet your drooling over these too now!

Each plate comes individually wrapped in plastic and with a blue protective film on the plate. Make sure you remove the blue protective layer before stamping. I didn't know this when I got my first set of plates a few years ago and I thought they were defective because the images wouldn't transfer onto the stamper. I bet you can guess how dumb I felt once I figured it out!

The first thing I noticed when I opened them up was that they put a backing on every plate to reduce the sharp metal edges and the slipperiness of the plates. MASH's first set of plates were very sharp, hard to pick up and moved around due to no backing on them. The new plates have smooth edges and  a great grip.

Sorry a few of the plates are a bit scratched but I just couldn't wait to try them out! Also, it's really hard taking pictures of the plates where your head and camera aren't in them so I'm sorry they are a bit dark. Enough blabbering! Here are the amazingly awesome plates!

Some of the plates that really excited me when I looked through them for the  first time are #37 with the super adorable octopus, owl, tree branch and clouds. #49 with a full image stamp of stars. #33 and 34 with the zodiac sings and #35 with the Fleur de lis since my husband and both brother-in-law's are all Eagle Scouts.

I am extremely impressed with these new MASH Plates. I was really excited to see that there are more full sized images and single image plates then the french tip design plates seeing as I really don't use them. The size of the plates images are a great size and fit my nails flawlessly. The only complaint I have is I wish they were a bit more eco friendly and wouldn't wrap every plate individually in the plastic since they all have the blue protective film on them.

If you are interested in getting your own set of MASH Plates you can order them from their website HERE. I hope you guys enjoyed this review because I had so much fun doing it!

Cotton Candy Gradient Nails

Hey Lovelies! Today's look is inspired by one of my favorite carnival treats, cotton candy!!! First I started out with a thin coat of Sally Hansen INSTA-DRI in Blue-Away and then using the makeup sponge technique I applied 3 layers of Blue-Away and Jordana's Pink Bunny.

This is a great mani to sport during the Spring time! Hope you enjoyed this look!

A Girl Can Never Have Enough Shoes!

Hey Lovelies! Yesterday two of my old co-workers/good friends all met up and had lunch together at Applebees! Since we all used to work at a shoe store together I thought I would be fitting if I did a special shoe mani. For this look I used 2 coats of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and then went in with Wet n' Wild's White Creme and stamped plate BM-213. It came out so cute and looked great with my black and white outfit I was wearing!

Katniss Everdeen- The Girl On Fire Nails

Hey Lovelies! Happy Mother's Day to all my mamas reading this! So last night Nathan took me to see The Hunger Games since I finished the book last weekend. I wanted to have a fire like mani to represent my favorite character Katniss Everdeen! I'm not very happy with how these nails photographed. It's hard to find a good angle to photograph the glitter design so these will have to do for now :)

For this look I used one coat of Wet n' Wild's Black Creme and then went in with Funky Fingers Star-Studded for the flames. I am LOVING these sparkly flames! Have you read The Hunger Games? What did you think the book Vs. the movie? Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday and Mother's Day!

White and Navy Chevron Nails

Hey Lovelies! I am loving the new Chevron fashion trend that's so hot right now that I decided I would try it out. I have been admiring this dress from Shopsosie.com and it is my inspiration.

For this look I used two coats of Bobbing For Baubles by Essie. Then I went in with Konad's special polish White and stamped the Chevron image from plate BM-201.

I absolutely LOVE how this came out! I can't wait to play around with different color combinations with this stamp! I hope you all enjoyed this look! Don't forget you can still vote once a day for my entry in the Bundle Monster Nail Art Contest until the 13th! CLICK HERE TO VOTE FOR MY ENTRY!

OPI Peru-B-Ruby Swatch

Hey Lovelies!Let me just say I can not wait to get a better camera!! I feel like I can never wear bright pinks or red because I can't capture the accurate color. Peru-B-Ruby is a beautiful bright fuchsia color with a stellar pink shimmer. I feel this color pink compliments my olive skin tone very well and the shine is just amazing. This color is very opaque so you could get away with one thicker coat but I chose to apply 2 thin coats to speed up the dry time. This is by far my favorite pink polish in my collection and I will definitely be getting another bottle when this one runs out!

OPI- You Don't Know Jacques! SUEDE Swatch

Hey Lovelies! Today's look is a awesome suede color by OPI. You don't know jacques suede is a beautiful shimmery golden taupe that is great for Fall. If your not fond of shimmer but love the color your in luck because they have a You Don't Know Jacques! Matte where there is no shimmer in it. The thing I love most about this polish is that it dries in about two mins! It has wonderful coverage so you can get away with one coat. I decided to use two coats for this look just to make sure I didn't miss any areas for you. :) I love throwing a glossy top coat over this color when I'm not feeling the suede finish. It really brings out the gorgeous shimmer. I can't wait to get my hands on more suede or matte finish polishes!

Mint Sorbet Flowers

Hey Lovelies! For today's look I used two coats of Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet and then went in with Konad's special polish Black and stamped the large flower design off of plate B87. I was so upset when I put my top coat on the Konad polish started to streak a bit. These happens to me once in awhile with this polish so I can't complain too much. I just added a coat of Jordana's Crystal Glitter to cover up the streaking and I'm so in love! This image plate is one of my favorite plates right now because it's so girly and has Hello Kitty!! Who doesn't love Hello Kitty?!?!

This is such a beautiful color for Spring and Summer!

Glitter makes everything better :)

I hope you all enjoyed this simple and pretty Summer time look! Have a gorgeous day!

No Heat Challenge 5th Month Update

Holy cow I made it another month! Next month will my half way point!!! I was unable to deep condition my hair every Saturday this month but I did manage to do it three times instead of two time like last month. Other then that the only thing I changed was my conditioner. I ran out of my Pantene Pro V Breakage to Strength conditioner and I had been hearing great reviews on the Aussie Moist conditioner so I thought I would give it a try.  If you didn't catch last months update click HERE and if you would like to follow my journey from the beginning then click HERE.

What I did differently this month:
1. Deep conditioned my hair 3 times during the month.
2. Switched my conditioners.

April 30th:
(Left Side) Look Olivia is getting curly hair just like mama!

(Right View) Olivia sporting crazy hair!

(Back View) Look at that length!!!
