Marilyn Monroe Nails Featuring Born Pretty Store's Nail Stamping Plate BP-L016

Hey lovelies! I am BEYOND EXCITED to be reviewing nail stamping plate BP-L016 from the Born Pretty Store! This plate comes with tons of Damask type images along with an anchor heart, unicorn, love, Paris, Audrey Hepburn and (my favorite) Marilyn Monroe!

For this first look I started out with 2 coats of Julep's Janet and 2 coats of Sinful Color's Black on Black for my pointer finger. Once that was dry I went in and stamped the Marilyn Monroe image and the second image from the top. I seriously can't contain my excitement over these nails! I am beyond in love with how these turned out!

For this next look I used 2 coats of Essie's Lady Like and stamped the 4th image from the left with Butter London's Cor Blimey.

How freaking amazing is this plate!?!? PLEASE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO GET YOURSELF THIS PLATE!!! I couldn't believe how well the face images got picked up. Then I went in with Wet n' Wild's I Red a Good Book and stamped Cheeky plate CH42. Born Pretty Store's Nail Stamping Plate BP-L006 Review

Hey Lovelies! Today I will be featuring the Born Pretty Store nail stamping plate BP-L006. I love that this plate has such a great assortment of different images for all ages!

For this first look I started with two coats of China Glaze's Something Sweet and two coats of Essie's Watermelon on my ring finger. I then went in with the opposite color and stamped my plaid design. I love this look so much but I need to practice making my lines more straight lol

For the second look I started out with two coats of Julep's Janet and China Glaze's Foie Gras on my pinky finger. Next I went in with the opposite color and stamped the leopard print image. I think that the polish I used to stamp with was a bit to thin and that's why the image came out very light in the middle but with darker edges.

Even though both of these looks have errors in them they were made by me and not because of this plate. I wanted to so you guys that not ever polish works the best when stamping! I would however highly recommend this plate and cant wait to create more nail looks with it. Make sure you swing on over to www,bornprettystore.com to grab plate BP-L006 and check out all other nail art goodies they sell! Make sure you use the coupon code JFL91 for 10% off!

For this look I started out with two coats of Essie's Brooch The Subject. Once that was dry I went in with Fresh Paint's Spruce Street and stamped the fleur de lis image on The Born Pretty Store plate BP-36.

For this last look I started out with three coats of  OPI's The One That Got Away on my pointer, middle and ring finger. Next I went in with my makeup sponge and applied some of the OPI The One That Got Away and Sinful Color's Black on Black and did the gradient technique. Born Pretty Store's Nail Stamping Plate BP-01 Review

Hey Lovelies! In honor of it being so freaking darn cold up here in Ohio I thought it would be the perfect time to showcase the Born Pretty Store plate BP-01. This Christmas plate features Santa, snowflakes, reindeer, Christmas trees and more!

Let's jump right into this winter look! I started out with two coats of Essie's Soul Mate as my base color. I then went in with my white polish and stamped the snowflake, trees and reindeer images. I wanted to make this nail design look like a picture so I went in with my small dotting tool and created a snowy ground for the reindeer's and the trees.

I definitely suggest stopping over and checking out their nail art section and see all the great nail goodies that they offer and don't forget to use the coupon code JFL91 for 10% off!

Essie's Parka Perfect

Hey Lovelies! Today's post is a little out of the ordinary because I forgot to take pictures of this nail look after I painted them and once I realized it it was to late to get a really good picture.what I want you all to take away from this post is how durable this polish is! I only had one chip on the side of my pointer nail and a little bit of wear on the tips. So after four days, no top coat, dishes, TONS of house work and even sledding I present to you Parka Perfect by Essie!

Parka Perfect is a dusty blue grey with a subtle silver and blue shimmer. This color is perfect for these chilly January days and I seriously can't wait to try out some awesome stamping with this color!

Christmas Nails: Look #3 Water Marbling

Hey Lovelies! For my weekend mani I decided to do a Christmas water marble with red, green, white and glitter polish. I started out with 1 coat of Sweet Color's white polish in number 016. Once that was completely dry I made my water marble design with Fresh Paint's Spruce Street, Essie's Bold and Beautiful and OPI's Don't Touch My Tutu! You know a holiday mani isn't complete unless there is glitter, so I added 1 coat of China Glaze's Fairy Dust to top this look off.

If you would like to learn how I achieve my water marble looks check out my step by step Purple Mint Marbling post.

Eco-Friendly Nail Polish and Nail Stamping Plate M59 Review

Hey Lovelies! Today I am coming at you all with another review from the Sweet Color Lolita nail polish line from the Born pretty store and stamping plate M59. Let me just start off by saying I have had the worst track record with white nail polish. I like to say we have a love hate relationship because I can never find a white polish that isn't super thick, streaky, or gunky. So I was super skeptical when I got this white polish considering my track record but WOOOO HOOOO BUDDY!!!!! This is THE BEST white polish I have EVER used! It's everything you want from a white polishItem ID: 4512 is creamy, glossy, has great application, dries fast, streak free and best of all it's a one coat wonder! Yes you heard me right! I only used one coat to achieve this beautiful look. If all that hasn't got you running to the Born pretty store yet to top it off it's eco-friendly!!

For this look I used two coats of China Glaze Grape Pop topped with one coat of China Glaze's Fairy Dust. Once that was dry I went in with Essie's Bangle Jangle and stamped image plate m59 that I got from the Born pretty store. To top off this look I added a clear rhinestone for a little added bling. I have been wanting this plate for the longest time and I am so happy that I picked it up. When scraping and transferring the image from plate to nail I got a clear and crisp bow every single time. I highly recommend this plate if you love bows and hearts!

Not only does the Born pretty store sell eco-friendly polish, they also supply nail art supplies, cell phone cases, makeup, hair supplies and so much more! They also ship worldwide and it's free shipping!! If your interested in grabbing a few of these beauties for yourself swing on over to the Born pretty store and don't forget to use the coupon code JFL91 to get 10% off your entire order!!
