Marilyn Monroe Nails Featuring Born Pretty Store's Nail Stamping Plate BP-L016

Hey lovelies! I am BEYOND EXCITED to be reviewing nail stamping plate BP-L016 from the Born Pretty Store! This plate comes with tons of Damask type images along with an anchor heart, unicorn, love, Paris, Audrey Hepburn and (my favorite) Marilyn Monroe!

For this first look I started out with 2 coats of Julep's Janet and 2 coats of Sinful Color's Black on Black for my pointer finger. Once that was dry I went in and stamped the Marilyn Monroe image and the second image from the top. I seriously can't contain my excitement over these nails! I am beyond in love with how these turned out!

For this next look I used 2 coats of Essie's Lady Like and stamped the 4th image from the left with Butter London's Cor Blimey.

How freaking amazing is this plate!?!? PLEASE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO GET YOURSELF THIS PLATE!!! I couldn't believe how well the face images got picked up. Patriotic Red, White and Blue Nails Featuring Lady Queen's Stamping Plate Hehe040

Hey Lovelies! Are you in love with all the amazing water marbling nails that people do but you just can't seem to get it to work for you or you just cant be bothered with the mess it creates? Well I have a the perfect solution! Lady Queen's hehe040 nail stamping plate is the perfect plate for you!

For this look I started out with a radial gradient using Wet n' Wild's Megalast polish in the color I Red A Good Book and Sinful Color's Midnight Blue. Once that was dry I went in with my white polish and stamped the water marble image.

How awesome is this stamp?!?!? I love how flawless this plate worked. My white polish is getting old so it wasn't transferring real great but I made sure it was only the white polish and not the plate by testing it out with other colors. I am looking forward to working with this plate more.

If you are loving this plate as much as I do then swing on over to the Lady Queen website and grab stamping plate hehe040. Don't forget to use the code CKLC15 for 15% off!

Purple and Blue Radial Gradient

Hey Lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend like me! I became an Aunt on Friday to the most perfect 8lb 13oz baby boy!! I can't wait to spoil him rotten! Today on the blog I have a beautiful radial gradient! My first one ever I might add :) I was so in love with the blue and purple combination that I did with my neon rainbow gradient nails the other day that I just had to use them in their own mani.

For this look I used China Glaze's Towel Boy Toy and Sinful Colors Let's Talk. Just like a normal gradient I used a makeup sponge to create this look. Once my nails were dry I went in with Sinful Colors Black on Black and stamped Bundle Monster plate BM-618. I hope you all enjoyed this look!

Born Pretty Store's Nail Stamping Plate BP-L008 Review

Hey Lovelies! I am extremely excited to be reviewing a new stamping plate for you guys! Today's plate comes from the Born Pretty Store which is an online website where you can find anything and everything you need to have show stopping nails! Today I will be showing you two beautiful nail looks that I created with stamping plate BP-L008. So let's get this party started by letting me introduce to you plate BP-L008

For my first look I started out with two coats of Sinful Color's Black On Black for my pointer and pinky finger and two coats of OPI Nicole's Carried Away. I then went in with Black On Black and stamped the 6th image on the top row.

For my second look I stared out with one coat of China Glaze Something Sweet. Once that was dry I went in with my makeup sponge and used the gradient technique with Something Sweet and Zoya's LARA. Finally I went in with Sinful Colors Black on Black and stamped the 1st image on the top row.

I am so impressed with this Born Pretty Store nail plate. I love that they added the pink backing to the large plate because I feel it gives the plate a more visual appeal and I always hated when I would be handling a plate and I could feel the rough metal edges. Also I'm very impressed with how this plate is etched. Lately I have been finding that some of my plates are having a hard time transferring from the plate to my stamper. When I feel the plate it just feels smooth like there is no design etched in. With this plate I feel each and every line and curve in the image, In conclusion I HIGHLY recommend this plate!

Make sure you swing on over to the Born Pretty Store and check out all their nail art supplies! BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE! If you order from them make sure you use this code!

Mermaid Nails

Hey lovelies! I don't know about you guys but it is colder then a eskimo's bare booty on a seat of ice up here in Ohio! So for this weekends nails I went to my happy place (which is a tropical island with only me and my full service waiter named Juan) and I created these fabulous mermaid nails.

To get this look I stared out with one thin coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black and two coats of Metamorphosis by Color Club. Once that was COMPLETELY DRY I went in with my stamping plate MASH-39 and used my Black on Black to stamp the scales image.

To finish off the look I sealed it all in with my top coat to bring the mermaid scales to life!

OMG Nail Strips- Cartoon Cheetah Review

Hey Lovelies! Today I will be reviewing one of two nail stickers from the company OMG Nail Strips. The first set that I will be featuring today are the Cartoon Cheetah stripes which are a brilliant white with small black and gold cheetah prints. When I first saw this print I was completely turned off by them but once they were on I started to warm up and finally fell in love when I created my final look.

I only have two problems with these nail strips and pretty much every nail strip on the market.

1. The packages never have enough of the strips to fit the width of my nails so I always have to use at least one strip that doesn't fit my nail.

2 No matter how good I file down the strips on my nails they always look rough and ragged.

Since the edges of my nails were looking a hot mess I decided to dress my nails up a bit and cover the hot mess up! I used one coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black to create this half moon look.

 Yay no hot mess anymore!!!

OMG Nail Strips offers tons of gorgeous, hip and trendy nail strips. Go check them out at...
