Purple, Blue, Hot Pink and Glitter Water Marble

Hey Lovelies! Today I have an awesome look for you! I asked everyone on my Facebook page what kind of water marbles they would enjoy seeing me do and I got tons of responses. I had a lady tell me that her daughter wanted to see a purple, blue, pink and GLITTER water marble and that is exactly what she will get to see today! So I set off to my polish station and picked out these four beautiful colors! For this water marble I used China Glaze Heli-Yum, Flyin High and Grape Pop topped with Jordana's crystal glitter.

I can't stop looking at these nails! I am super impressed with how well these three polishes marbled together. If you would like to learn how to water marble then check out my Purple Mint Marbling post that has a step by step tutorial. Is there a special water marble you would like to see? Comment below and let me know! Have a wonderful weekend!!

  1. My daughters and I tried (and failed) to do a neon water marble with pink, orange and yellow. I just read your tutorial and I think we should try again. We did not use filtered water and we did not swirl from the inside out. Thanks for these tips!

    1. Thanks! I have that problem too :( It all depends on the polish you use.

  6. I was like many of you, complaining about water marbling not working for me. After several trial attempts and watching plenty of tutorials I have came up with the following tips.
    For Good Water Marble Nails:
    1) White base coat (it makes the colors pop)
    2) Vaseline around your nail (makes for very easy clean up)
    3) I find a plastic cup of room temp water works best
    4) Make sure the polish you are using is thin and doesn't dry quick (I ALWAYS do a test of my colors in the water first)
    5) Toothpicks are your best friend with water marbling!
Hope I helped in making your next attempt at water marble successful!
