Tropical Sunset Nails

Hey Lovelies! Since its been chilly up where I live for the past few days I need a warm mani to make me feel better! As I was searching the web looking at warm weathered pictures I stumbled upon this beautiful sunset picture.

I bet your feeling the warmth too right now ;)

For this gradient sunset look I started off with Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow and applied one very thin coat to all my nails and then let it dry. I then applied Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow, Pure Ice's Hot Tamale and Wet n' Wild's Lavender Creme to my make-up applicator and started to apply it to my nails in a dabbing motion. Once that was dry I repeated the process two more times waiting for each layer to dry in between. I then went in with MASH plate 28 and took the top half of the palm tree and stamped it with Wet n' Wild's Black creme onto my ring finger. Finally I sealed in my beautiful sunset design with my Seche Vite top coat. Check out my tutorial on how I achieved this look HERE.

Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful tropical look! Don't forget to enter my Giveaway that is going on till May 4th! Click HERE to enter!

  1. This is just awesome. I love your mani's! ahhh! Ok so whats the best way for you to remove your nail polish? I figured you must have a good remedy since you change them up a lot :) <3

    1. Thank you! I use Target's up&up nail polish remover in nourishing (it's the blue/green bottle)and it takes the polish of super fast! If I have chunky glitter on then I use Target's up&up nail polish remover in acetone and soak a cotton pad in it and then put it on my nail for a min or two and then I wipe it off with the other remover. Hope that helped :)

    2. Aw...thank you! Yours is awesome as well! I have a friend who wants me to do her nails for her wedding, and your profile picture with the small white heart is the exact design she sent me as her inspiration. If she follows through and asks me to do the design, I'll let you know and credit your work in my blog!
