Strawberries Anyone?

Hey Lovelies! I love strawberries so much that when I saw this pin on Pintrest the other night I just had to try and recreate it! This is such a cute and super simple design to do if you want to jazz up that plain manicure this summer or if you just love strawberries like me! First I started out with two coats of Pink Bunny by Jordana as my base color. Next I took my large dotting tool and made different sized upside down triangles on the outside corners of every nail with Wet n' Wilds I Red A Good Book. Once that was completely dry I took my smallest dotting tool and made little swipe marks in the red triangles with Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in Mellow Yellow. Finally with the same small dotting tool I made one line across the bottom of the triangle and then two smaller curved lines coming off the top of that line in Fresh Paint's Spruce Street. To finish off the look I sealed it in with my handy dandy Seche Vite top coat.

Here is a little tutorial I put together so you can achieve this look at home!

OPI DS Extravagance Swatch

Hey Lovelies! I just had to show you this amazingly gorgeous purple shimmer from OPI's DS collection! DS Extravagance is seriously one of the best polishes that I own! It glides on like butter, only needs one coat and it hardly chips! What more could you ask for in a polish? I took these pictures after having this polish on for 4 days and I had no chips! AMAZING!!! Honestly if you don't have this color you should invest in it because you will love this purple! Hope you are all having a great day! Pink and Red Vintage Roses

Hey Lovelies! Ever since I started my blog I have always wanted to try this beautiful vintage rose design but I wasn't confident enough to try it until now! For this look I used two coats of Mint Candy Apple by Essie as my background color. Then I went in with a large dotting tool and made large random dots with Pink Bunny by Jordana. Once that was dry I went in with Wet n' Wild's I Red A Good Book and made the outlines to the rose. To finish the look off I used Fresh Paint's Spruce Street and made a few petals coming off the roses and then sealed in this look with my Seche Vite top coat. I am so happy with how this nail art came out! I cant wait to try it out in other color combos! Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful vintage rose design. Houston We Have Some Glitter

Hey Lovelies! I got this polish from a nail art contest that I won and I and excited to show you a swatch of it!! For this look I used 3 coats of OPI Houston We Have A Purple and then 1 coat of OPI Teenage Dream on top. I am loving this color purple very much but I hate that the consistency is so thin! I felt like 3 coats of this wasn't enough so I had to put some glitter on top to fix it. I tried stamping a few stars on top of the glitter polish and that was a huge fail! Only half of the stars transferred onto the nail so I just lightly wiped it off with remover and touched up any areas that needed more polish . Don't forget to enter my Nail Art Contest that is going on till the 20th! Hope you enjoy!

Easter Bunny Nails

Hey Lovelies! So went to a Easter party/egg hunt with my family and Nate's family earlier today and I wanted a cute Easter mani but I didn't want it to be outrageous because the skirt I had on had a beautiful pattern on it that I wanted to be the main focus so I came up with these super cute bunny nails! For this Easter look I started out with 2 coats of Essie's Mint Candy Apple. Once that was dry I made a half circle for the head on the top of my nail and then added 2 lines going down for ears with Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in White On. Make sure your bunnies head is fully dry before going on. Once she was dry I made the inside of her ears and her nose with the color Pink Bunny by Jordana (how cute is that name?!?) and the eyes with Wet n Wild's Black Creme. To finish off the look I sealed it all in with my Seche Vite top coat. I got the idea for the bunny design from Cutepolish! Check out her tutorial HERE. What are you wearing on your nails for Easter? Don't forget to enter my Nail Art Contest HERE. It ends on April 20th!

Nail Stamping Plate Comparison

Hey Lovelies! The most frequently asked questions about my stamping plates are which set is the best or which set covers your entire thumb nail the best? I decided I would do a swamping (swatch stamping) for you so you could see a plate from each company, so I gathered up one plate from all three sets that I own and got to it. I'm using MASH plate 72 (M72), Bundle Monster plate 20 (BM20) and Bundle Monster plate 210 (BM-210).

When it's all said and done I feel that the new BM plates and the M.A.S.H plates get greater coverage on my nails. The older BM plates were way too small for my nails which is very disappointing to me because they have super cute designs on them. However I did learn that on some of the images from that collection you can turn sideways and just apply them twice, side by side and it still looks good.

Which set is the best? In my opinion I would say the MASH image plates because I like their images the best and I feel I get the best coverage with them.

Which set covers the thumb nail the best? As you can see in the photos I would say the MASH and new BM plates. In my opinion I would say the MASH plates have better coverage for my nails but both plate sets are amazing!

Where can I buy the stamp set? I got all of my sets off of Amazon.com. Here are some links to the sets. I am so sorry I can not find a link to the M.A.S.H set that I own but I found a link to another set they have.

I hope that this comparison helped you out! If you have any questions please feel free to comment down below and I will answer them.

Featured Friday

Hey Lovelies! Today's Featured Friday is a super cute one from my friends daughter Madalin and her father. Her father used cute little heart stickers on her nails and then put a clear top coat over them to make sure they stayed on. You can these and other nail decals at your local Walgreen's, Rite Aid, Target or Walmart in their nail aisle.

Aren't they cute!!

So pretty!

Thank you so much for sending this in Madalin! You and your father did a wonderful job!

Husband's Choice

Hey Lovelies! Instead of a Pink Wednesday today I'm bringing you my husband's choice! What is my husband's choice you ask? It's where I let my husband Nathan rummage through all my polishes and stamps and I let him choose what I wear! Dangerous right?!?! Well let's  kick it off with my husband's choice for today.

I used 2 coats of Wet n' Wild's I Need a Refresh-Mint followed by one coat of Funky Fingers Stage Dive. Let me just say for the record.... MY HUSBAND ROCKS! I am LOVING this mani that he picked out! I guess he really does listen to me when I babble on about polishes because he picked two of my loves, the color mint and sparkles! What do you guys think? Did he do good?

Spring Time Butterflies

Hey Lovelies! Even though it's only 40 degrees out today the sun is shining and the birds are chirping (probably because they are freezing their buns off! ). None the less it looks like Spring outside so I wanted to do a simple Spring or even Easter look today! For this look I used 2 coats of Essie's Bangle Jangle and I let that dry completely. Then I went in with Wet n' Wild's French White Creme and stamped the double butterfly image from image plate BM05 and sealed in this look with my Seche Vite top coat. Isn't this just lovely?!?! I am loving this creamy lilac purple color for Spring! Hope you all are having a wonderful day!
